Mr Akihiro Nagahara, our Managing Director and CEO of United Asia Finance (“UAF”) was awarded as Leaders of Excellence by Capital Magazine.

The Leaders of Excellence Awards 2013 was held on Jan 13 at Island Shangri-La Hong Kong Hotel with many guests and awardees. The objective of the Awards is to recognize the contribution of individual in particular industry with outstanding performance. The Awards were judged and finalized by professional judging panel and the editorial committee of Capital Magazine.

During the award presentation, Mr Nagahara received the trophy from Mr. Ng Leung-Sing, SBS, J.P., Hong Kong Deputy to the 12th National People’s Congress of the PRC and expressed his gratitude of receiving the award.

“UAF has been established since 1993 and has been developed a strong network with 48 branches throughout Hong Kong with more than 600 staffs in Hong Kong now. In 2007, we have established the first branch in Shenzhen and now more than 100 branches have already been opened in 12 cities of Mainland China with more than 5,000 staffs in total. The success of UAF is credited to all of my staff with providence of professional and quality loan services for customers. Being the Chairman of The Hong Kong Licensed Money Lenders Association Ltd., I am dedicated to facilitate the development of financial industry and leading the loan industry to be more sophisticated in the future.“ said by Mr Nagahara with joy.

Mr Nagahara mentioned that as Director of Po Leung Kuk before and Trustee Member of New Asia College of The Chinese University of Hong Kong for many years, he will continuously support charitable and educational activities and to make immense contribution to the Hong Kong society.
